It is a large family of bulbous plants. Most alliums bloom late in spring, in an inflorescence “head” and are quite fragrant. The colors you can find are white, purple, yellow, blue or pink. It has dark green, erect, thin and cylindrical leaves. It needs regular watering and sunny or semi- shaded planting locations. Fertile and well- drained soils help the flowering.
