Perennial, bulbous plant, with short, blue and white flowers in botryoid form. Its leaves are green, glossy and spoon- shaped at their edge, while their base is narrow. Due to its size, weeds need to be removed for proper growth. It prefers sunny or semi- shaded planting locations, in well- drained but moist soils of various types.
