Freesias are one of the most beautiful bulbs that produce fragrant flowers of different colors early in spring. They have green, elongated, lanceolate leaves, which extend from the base of the plants. They prefer sunny spots, but they grow well in partial shade too. They require good drainage and sandy soils.
