Description

Allium is a small, perennial, bulbous plant with dark green, upright, thin and cylindrical leaves that smell like onion and grow in dense clusters. Its flowers are spherical and have a light purple color. This particular variety is the only one that has been endemic since ancient times. It has similar medicinal properties to garlic. It prefers wet but well- drained soils and sunny places.
