Description

Latin Name: Brassica oleracea var. botrytis
Sowing: From May to August
Harvest: Depending on the variety and the crop, the harvest takes place approximately 5 months after sowing. When the flower head is on its usual shape, it is cut along with 3- 4 leaves, which protect it from light.
The cauliflower is an herbaceous plant, annual or biennial and belongs to the cruciferous family and the genus Brassica.
