Evergreen, ground cover plant with glossy, green foliage and thorns along the stems. It has compact and dense vegetation. It makes red fruits like Easter eggs and white flowers, star- shaped in spring. It is sensitive to very low temperatures; it prefers full sun. It withstands dry soils.
