PHILODENDRON XANADU (ΦΙΛΟΔΕΝΤΡΟ ΞΑΝΑΝΤΟΥ)

Description

Latin Name: Philodendron Xanadu
Dimensions: Maximum height 1- 1.2m./ Maximum width 1.5- 2m.
It is one of the many Philodendron species native to the tropic areas. It has an upright and solid shape, dark green, toothed, shiny leaves, smaller than other Philodendron species. In Greece we use it as an indoor plant, as it needs light but indirectly. As it grows, it acquires a trunk that is covered by its leaves. It needs humidity and not very low temperatures. It prefers rich and slightly alkaline soils with good drainage.
