Description
Latin Name: Citrus myrtifolia (Chinotto)
Dimensions: Maximum height 3- 4m./ Maximum diameter of the crown 2- 3m.
Flowering: April- May
It is a citrus that looks like a small leafed sour orange, while its leaf is green and shiny. It resembles the myrtle and has no thorns. It has a compact form and that is why we use it easily in pots. The fruit has a bitter taste, although it is harvested when it is orange in color. It prefers sunny places in fertile soils, not calcareous, and does not like low temperatures.
