Description
Latin name: Rhaphiolepis umbellata
Flowering: April- August
Dimensions: Maximum height 1- 1.5m./ Maximum diameter 1- 1.5m.
A slow- growing, medium- sized evergreen shrub with glossy, dark green, oval leaves and white or pink, botryoidal flowering in spring, which sometimes turns pale pink in early summer. It produces purple- black fruits in autumn. It prefers sheltered and sunny spots, is resistant to drought and suitable for coastal areas.
