Rosemary is an evergreen, fragrant species found naturally in warm and dry areas of the Mediterranean flora. It has gray- green, needle- like, glossy leaves. It is attractive to bees and butterflies and is used as a bee- keeping species. Suitable for well- drained soils and sunny places. It resists coastal planting and drought.
