Description
Latin name: Platycodon grandiflorus
Flowering: June- September
Dimensions: Maximum height 35- 70cm.
It is a perennial flower of low growth with a reddish purple flower in the shape of a bell or a cup. Its foliage is wavy blue- green and strongly serrated, that turns yellow before falling. In winter, depending on the area, it may disappear, but it flowers again in spring. It needs sunshine and prefers soils well drained, light and clayey.
