It is a plant that prefers semi- shaded spots. Its flower is very fragrant and can be used also as cut flower. It is large and impressive and should be cut at the stage when it begins to open. It is a bulbous plant that lives many years. The best planting season is in autumn, in rich, deep and sandy soil. The “eyes” should be covered with 3 cm of soil. It has large, bicolor flowers with dark pink petals and yellow stamens that become salmon pink.
