Description
Latin name: Magnolia brooklynensis ‘Yellow bird’
Flowering: April- May
Dimensions: Maximum height 5- 10m./ Maximum earl diameter 4- 7m.
Deciduous shrub or low tree with pyramidal or oval appearance. It produces large, bright yellow flowers, slightly fragrant, that look like large tulips. Later, the leaves also appear. Its trunk has brown- grey bark and its leaves are light green, which turn golden- brown in autumn. Resistant plant, it prefers cool and fertile soils, sunny and windless planting spots.
