Description

Latin Name: Euphorbia trigona
Dimensions: Maximum height 1.5- 3m.
Flowering: May- June
It is a perennial succulent of upright growth and not a cactus. Although it looks like a cactus, it has leaves, unlike the cactuses that do not. Its name is taken from the shape of its trunk. The color of its leaves is dark green and light green at the edges. There is also the variety ‘rubra’, which is reddish. Along with the leaves it has small thorns. The same goes for both varieties. It prefers sandy soils, but can thrive in most types of soil, as long as it is well drained. It needs sunny spots and not temperatures below 10 degrees.
