Description
Latin name: Tulbaghia violacea
Flowering: January- April
Dimensions: Maximum height 0.5m.
Rapidly growing, bulbous plant. Its leaves are long, narrow, slightly fleshy, with a strong smell of garlic. It has purple, tubular flowers, clustered in umbels (up to 20 flowers on a tall stem). It flowers for a long time. It thrives in well- drained soils and warm climates and withstands drought.
