Description
Latin name: Chimonanthus praecox
Flowering: December- February
Dimensions: Maximum height 3- 4m./ Maximum diameter 3m.
Deciduous shrub slow or moderate growth, very resistant to cold and diseases. It flowers in winter with intensely fragrant, yellow, hanging flowers on its bare branches before the leaves deployed. It has upright branches and hard, light green leaves, lanceolate shaped and short stems. It prefers well- drained soils.
