Slow growing, evergreen fruit tree with shiny leaves (like the orange tree’s) and compact vegetation. Its branches have sharp thorns. It has white, fragrant flowering in spring and green fruits (slightly smaller and more round than lemons) in autumn. It prefers full sun, fertile and no calcareous soils, and it is sensitive to frost as all citrus fruits.
