Small development palm tree. It has thin, heavily sculpted trunk with dark, green, descending leaves 1- 1,2m. that become spines near the stem. It flowers in truss- like inflorescences with white flowers, bearing oval, black fruits. It prefers well- drained fertile soils in sunny places.
