Description
Latin name: Camellia japonica

Shrub with leaves that are glossy and dark green on their upper surface and pale green and rough on the underside. It has long flowering with stunning single or double flowers. It develops slowly and can withstand temperatures up to -12/ -15 oC. It prefers shady places with northern or eastern exposure. Protecting the Camellia is essential, as well as moving it to a sheltered place if possible.
