Description
Latin name: Thunbergia erecta
Flowering: May- September
Dimensions: Maximum height 2- 2.5m.
It is a fast- growing climbing plant. In warm climates it is evergreen, while in cold it is deciduous. It has oval, dark green leaves in pairs. It has great blooming with tubular, purple- blue flowers with a yellow neck. It requires sunshine for more flowering. In sunny spots, its color is purple, while in shades it’s darker blue. It prefers moist, fertile and well- drained soils.
