Description
Latin name: Spiraea japonica ‘Anthony Waterer’
Flowering: May- June
Dimensions: Maximum height 0.80- 1m./ Maximum diameter 1- 1.5m.
The pink Japanese Spiraea is a beautiful, compact, deciduous and upright shrub with green, lanceolate, toothed leaves that turn yellow and fall in autumn. In late spring to mid- summer it is filled with beautiful, pink flower clusters. It prefers sunny planting spots or spots with partial shade. It does not have special soil and climatic conditions except for the well- drained soil, but it does not thrive in coastal areas with high temperatures.
