Nandina is a spherical shrub with complex leaves and narrow, elongated leaves that are glossy green in spring, bronze in autumn and intense red in winter. It has a white flowering that produces many red fruits in November, which are kept almost all winter. It is slow growing and prefers sunny places (without excluding the shady and semi- shady ones) and rich, cool, non- alkaline soils with good drainage and high resistance to low temperatures.
