Evergreen or semi- evergreen, spherical shrub or tree. It has hard stems, green, deep red foliage and serrated leaves. It flowers with various colors, funnel- shaped flowers, from the center of which protrudes a long stamen. It is suitable for warm climates. It prefers fertile soils and sunny locations.
