Evergreen plant that prefers sunny planting spots. It can be planted near the sea. It is planted in any well- drained soil, even calcareous ones. It is used in wall decorations, in borders and rock gardens but also for ground cover. It has a very decorative foliage that creates round tufts with gray- blue leaves. Its flower is very aromatic with purple- red color and can be used also as cut flower.
