Latin name: Citrus medica var. Sarcodactylis or Buddha’s hand mini fusto
Flowering: April- June
A variety of citron with Chinese origin that has the form of a small tree or shrub, with small and irregular branches covered by thorns. It has light green, oblong leaves and fragrant, white flowers with a little purple externally as the lemons. Its fruit ripens from November to January and it seems like open fingers that try to close. It prefers sunny planting places and well- drained soils. It is sensitive to frost.
