It is an evergreen, slow- growing fruit tree with a spherical shape. It has glossy, greenish- yellow, leathery leaves. It does not withstand frosts and needs proper fertilization and watering. It has a fragrant bloom with white and purple flowers and zebra- shaped yellow- green fruits with pink flesh. It prefers sunny spots and fertile soil, not calcareous.
