Description

Latin name: Asimina triloba

Dimensions: Maximum height 8- 10m.
Tropical fruit tree or large shrub. It is deciduous and its origin is the eastern US. It has large leaves, symmetrically clustered at the ends of the branches that look almost like the avocado’s. It flowers in spring with impressive purple flowers and the fruits ripen in autumn, with yellow- green color. It prefers deep, fertile and well drained soils.
