Description
Latin name: Acer palmatum ‘Orange dream’
Flowering: April- May
Dimensions: Maximum height 4- 5m./ Maximum diameter 3- 4m.
Deciduous small tree or large shrub with upright growth, acidophilic, robust, dense and compact, with strongly branched vegetation. It has golden- yellow lobed leaves with pink tips in spring that turn orange- yellow in fall. The bark of its trunk is green and shiny and contrasts nicely with its leaves. It prefers shady or semi- shaded planting spots, fertile, acidic and well- drained soils.
