Description
Latin Name: Citrus limon medica ‘Pigmentata’

Dimensions: Maximum height 2- 3m./ Maximum earl diameter 1.5- 2.5m.
The red lemon is an evergreen fruit- bearing tree with relatively fast growth and a large thick- skinned and wrinkled fruit, which turns red when ripens. Its flowering is white and fragrant. It has an upright form with glossy, green, leathery leaves and spiny branches. It can’t thrive in frosts and during fruiting it needs proper fertilization and watering. It prefers sunny spots in fertile soils and not calcareous ones.
