Description
Latin name: Myrtus communis ‘Microphylla’ nana
Flowering: June- October
Dimensions: Maximum height 0.6m.- 1m./ Maximum diameter 0.5- 0.6m.
Low- growing, multi- branched, upright shrub with dense vegetation. It has evergreen, fragrant, green foliage with even smaller leaves than the common myrtle, oval, shiny and pointed. It displays white flowers during flowering, with long, central, creamy white stamens that later produce black fruits. In winter it is pruned lightly. It has no special requirements and is suitable for formed pruning.
